ARABIC CALLIGRAPHY & ART (monthly program for adults and children) Welcome to the Muslim Center of Greater Princeton’s Art Initiative!
Description:
Do you know there is a world of a difference between Arabic writing and calligraphy? Students will review the fundamentals of pen strokes, dot-based measurements, balance, lettering, and design in Arabic Calligraphy. This is an essential class for any student who wants to learn the easy steps to remarkable calligraphy in a short time. The emphasis in this class will be on learning how to create your own Arabic calligraphy home décor items.
Methodology:
Students will receive instructions during class to master Arabic calligraphy. To master the script(s), students will be responsible for practice assignments and projects are given on a monthly basis. The students will bring their homework back to class and receive correction and/or helpful advice on how to improve their assignment(s).
The class has general instruction and guidelines for all students but this class is taught at an individual level based on the competency in Arabic calligraphy.

KIDS CLASS#1: 11:30 am – 1:00 pm – Recommended for Ages 6 – 14. All calligraphy & painting supplies included in the fee.

You can cancel anytime.
You will be charged for the art class on a monthly basis.
In case you or your child cannot make it to the class, you must send a notice at least 24 hours in advance of the class to avoid charges.
If you decide not to register online, you will be charged a higher rate of $59 fee per class.
